Recruitment
Dear Students:
Delta Sigma Pi would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in our Fall Recruiting events. We are a co-ed professional fraternity with four focuses: professionalism, community service, diversity, and social activities. Our recruitment is open to any Business, SPEA, Economics, LAMP, Sports Marketing & Management, or Informatics (with business cognate) major. Prospective members must have at least three semesters of university study remaining and at least a 3.0 GPA. We invite you to read on, explore our website, and learn what Delta Sigma Pi has to offer you. An even better way to learn more about our chapter is to attend our recruiting events and speak with our members.
I look forward to meeting many of you in the weeks to come! Should you have any questions regarding recruitment, please contact me at joindsp@gmail.com
Sincerely,
Sarah Kolins
Senior Vice President
Why Delta Sigma Pi?
The Alpha Pi Chapter is a heterogeneous group with many different interests and experiences. The brothers represent different nationalities, religions, beliefs, and backgrounds. Working closely with such a diverse brotherhood prepares an undergraduate student for life and a successful career in the “real world”.
The network and lifelong friends that are made during one’s time with Alpha Pi provide support and guidance for a lifetime. Delta Sigma Pi is also an excellent way to become involved in the Kelley School of Business and in the Bloomington community. Delta Sigma Pi and the Alpha Pi chapter graduate leaders to compete in today’s business environment.
Alpha Pi’s Involvement on Campus
The brothers of Delta Sigma Pi are very involved in other organizations on the Bloomington campus. Members represent Delta Sigma Pi in intramural sports, Little 500, Dance Marathon, and many other groups. In the business school, Alpha Pi brothers are leaders in Civic Leadership Development, Kelley Student Government, and many more organizations!
Delta Sigma Pi Pledgeship
Delta Sigma Pi’s pledgeship is unique when compared to many other professional fraternities. New members have the opportunity to get to know current brothers on a personal level and meet chapter alumni. Alpha Pi is particularly proud of this aspect of pledgeship. Pledges also get to know each other as each pledge class plans and executes its own professional, community service, social, and fundraising events. To be a successful Alpha Pi pledge, one must be willing to become an active member and make his or her own special contributions to the fraternity. Involvement with Delta Sigma Pi is not a spectator sport!
